Paul L. “Smoke” Morgan, 72, of Williamsport, died October 31, 2009 at Mt. Carmel East Hospital. He was born June 14, 1937 in Ross Co. the son of Kenneth and Helen (Garrison) Morgan. Smoke was a retired millwright from Local # 1241, was a US Army veteran of Korean War and was a member of American Legion, Amvets, VFW and Eagles. He was preceded in death by his parents, step-father Russell “Cotton” Timmons, brothers Bert and Roy and sister Mildred “Sis” Peters. He is survived by his wife Norma (Clifton) Morgan, daughters Gayle (Kent) Wolfe, Linda and Mary Jo; grandchildren Jeff (Mitzi) Arledge, Kent and Brenton Wolfe, Tracey (Daryl) Rittinger, Jennifer (Josh) Conrad; brothers Dick (Nancy) Morgan and Bob (Mildred) Morgan and step-children and great grandchildren. Funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m. Wednesday November 4, 2009 at Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville. Burial will be in Hitler-Ludwig Cemetery. Friends may call from 2-8 p.m. Tuesday.
