Paul Myers

Paul T. Myers, 74, of Ashville, flew the coop and went to be with the Lord in the happy hunting grounds on October 19, 2012. He was born February 11, 1938 in Carrollton, Pa to Jack and Annie (Smith) Myers, adoptive parents, David and Martha Myers. He was preceded in death by his loving little poodle (Little Bit); his parents; his adoptive parents; brothers, Carl and Jackie and sisters, Betty Jane and Esther. He is survived by his loving wife, Betty L. (Frost) Myers of 53 years; children, Colene (Russell) Welsh, Kaylene Welsh, Paul David (Jenny) Myers and Ty (Tammy) Myers; grandchildren, Brandon and Jared (Reba) Welsh, Nick Breckenridge, Chelsea (Annie), Cody (Victoria), Chandler, Connor Myers, Ty and Tiffany (Bryon) Myers; brothers, Meryl, Chad and Rip; sister, Joyce; many nieces and nephews and many, many loving friends, Loser and Trigger (horses), Buddy (deer) and Noey (llama). Paul loved hunting, farming, car shows and was a real practical joker. He was Betty’s Jack of all trades and master of none. He was owner of PT Truck and Auto. He was a proud father of all his children and grandchildren and was a faithful member of Emmanuel United Methodist Church where his son the Reverend Ty Myers pastors. He loved eating out at Hot Spot and Portside Café with his many friends. Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday October 22, 2012 at the Emmanuel U.M.C. Burial will be in Reber Hill Cemetery. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Sunday at the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville.
