Paul Ramey

Paul L. Ramey was born April 1, 1943, in Circleville, Ohio to David and Margaret (Grunden) Ramey.  He departed this life unexpectedly on August 10, 2023 at the age of 80.  He was preceded in death by his parents David and Margaret, his brother David Mitchell Ramey, his son David, his daughter Rebecca Clouse, a wife Judy, and a wife Carol.  He is survived by his wife Floella, sons Rick (Julia) Ramey, and Terry Ramey, step children Tammy (Billy) Milesky, Hidie (Sean) Decker and Jenny (Charles) Shaffer; sisters Patty (Marvin) Valentine, Ethel Maze, Mary (Bob) Miller, Barbara (Lee) Allen, nieces Rebecca Maze, Trina (Mick) Davis, Tammy (Tony) Mosley, Michelle (Michael) Smith, Amy Laveck, and nephew Scott (Wanda) Miller; grandchildren include Victor (Mariana Salazar) Ramey, Brandon Ramey and David (Macy) Ramey; great grandchildren are Summer Clouse, Autumn Ramey, Jazmine Ramey and Natalie Ramey.  Paul worked in the heating and air conditioning industry for nearly 50 years with the same company which had transitioned through different ownerships and held various positions.  He retired June 2023.  In his spare time, Paul loved woodworking, spending time on his tractor mowing grass or moving snow, playing golf, and traveling.  He enjoyed his working relationships, had outstanding work ethics and almost a perfect attendance record.  Paul was such a likable guy and will be missed by his family and many friends.  Viewing will be on Monday, August 14, 2023 from 3-6 p.m. with a service at 6 at the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville.  A graveside service will be on Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Cemetery, Lockbourne.    In lieu of flowers memorial contributions are suggested to Zangmiester Cancer Center, 3100 Plaza Proporties Blvd, Columbus, Ohio 43219.  Online condolences can be made to www.wellmanfuneralhomes.com.
