Pearl Butcher

Pearl Butcher 99, of Circleville, died January 3, 2012 at Pickaway Manor. She was born December 27, 1912 in Roane County, WV, the daughter of George and Minta (Reger) Hersman. She was a member of the Community United Methodist Church and Sarah Circle. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John Butcher; son, Donald Butcher, grandson, Rob Butcher; daughter-in-law, Pat Butcher; sons-in-law, Frank Carr and Phillip List; 2 brothers, Reger and Bobby Hersman and 2 sisters, Elma Richards and Violet Harman. She is survived by her children, Ret U.S.M.C. Major General Bobby (Melinda) Butcher of San Diego, CA, Connie Carr of Covington, KY, Thomas (Gail) Butcher of Canton, GA and Carol Fisher of Circleville, 12 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Alice Butcher of Fort Mill, SC and special friend, Joseph W. Adkins, III. Memorial service will be held at a later date in Parkersburg, WV. Memorial contributions may be made to Community United Methodist Church. Arrangements were completed by the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville.
