Pearl Whaley

Pearl R. “Bob” Whaley, 84, of Circleville died April 14, 2012 at his residence. He was born May 8, 1927 in Circleville, the son of Willard and Ola (Smith) Whaley. He was a WWII Army veteran. He was preceded in death by his parents; grandson, Jonathan Michael Whaley; brothers, Ed and George Whaley and sisters, Rosellen Kirton and Patty Detty. He is survived by his wife, Elsie (Smith) Whaley; children, Larry (Connie) Whaley, Charles (Denise) Whaley, Patrick Whaley, Steve (Mary Ann) Whaley and Vicki (Don) Stonerock; 18 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; sister, Helen (Kenny) Sowers and brothers, Roy Whaley and Dwight (Virlyn) Whaley. Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday April 18, 2012 at the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville. Burial will be in Forest Cemetery. Friends may call from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Berger Hospice.
