Margaret "Peg" Ruth Trimble, 87, of Ashville, went to be with her Lord on February 5, 2008. She was born in Akron, the daughter of Harry and Rose (Firick) Dietz on July 6, 1920. She attended school at Akron High School and Kent State University. She was a head cook at the Asvhille Elementry School, member of the Village United Methodist Church, Zion United Methodist Church and the Nazarene Church. Peg was a Girl Scout leader for 20 years. She was very fond of her friends in the Lunch Brunch Group. She was preceded in death by her parents and grandson, Harrison Gould Trimble. Peg is survived by her beloved husband, William, of 63 years; their 3 children and families, Sandy (Mike) Wilson of Ashville, Terry (Tony) Meleca of Columbus and Jeff Trimble of Commerical Point; grandchildren, Barb (Jeff) Hart of Cape May, NJ, Lisa (Nate) Barnhart of Alburqueque New Mexico, Erika (John) Schorejs and Jason (Meghan) Cromley of Hilliard; great grandchildren, Morgan and Wilson Hart, Will and Mallory Cromley and Jackson Schorejs; cousins, Edgar Turner of Columbus and Linda (Firick) Elward of Maryland and brother and sister-in-law, Gene and Evelyn Trimble of Kent. Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday February 9, 2008 at the Wellman Funeral Home, Ashville with Rev. George Watters officiating. Burial will be in Floral Hills Memory Gardens. Friends may call from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations of Gideon Bibles or to the Nazarene Church.
