Phil Stumbo age 65 of Stoutsville went to be with the Lord April 21, 2015 at his home with his wife Pat of 47 years by his side. Born October 21, 1949 in the town of Amba, Kentucky. Phil was a welder retired from Buckeye Steel Castings. He was preceded in death by his parents Troy and Marie (Hamilton) Stumbo and brother Bill Moore. Phil is survived by his beloved family, his wife; Pat, daughters Sherry (Jeff) Knox of Stoutsville, Jody (Calvin) Cheadle of Kingston, grandchildren; Dustin (Brittany) Baxter, Tyler, Max, Maya and Mason Knox and Savanna and Griffin Cheadle, sister; Jackie (Jim) Graham of Tacoma, Washington, sister-in-law; Vena Moore of Toledo and many nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held on Friday, April 24, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville with Pastor Phil Demint officiating. Burial will follow in Franklin Hills Cemetery, Canal Winchester. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 2-8 p.m.. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made in Phil’s name to Berger Hospice.
