Philip Thompson

Philip Michael Thompson, 61, of Columbus, died January 3, 2013 at OSU Hospital. He was born November 2, 1951 in Circleville, the son of Francis Lee and Doris Jean (Hendricks) Thompson, Sr. Retired from television taping, sound, mixing of religious programs for many churches in the Columbus area. He was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents, Zona M. Hixon and Hud Hendricks, aunt and uncle, Richard and Irene Hixon; 1 nephew and 1 great niece. He is survived by his wife, Jeri Ann (Hamilton) Thompson; brothers, Francis Lee (Sharon) Thompson, Jr. and Jeffrey L. Thompson; sister, Cheryl A. (Thompson) Powell (James); aunt, Shirley Hixon (Tom) Tatman; uncle, Jim Hixon; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and great great niece. Memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday January 15, 2013 at the Calvary Rd. Community Church, 4108 Norton Rd. Columbus. Burial will be in Reber Hill at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to Calvary Rd. Community Church. Arrangements completed by the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville.
