Ralph Gierhart

Ralph E. Gierhart, 60, of Logan, died April 18, 2013 at his residence. He was born on November 22, 1952 in Franklin County, the son of Russell and Virginia (Jury) Gierhart. He was a U.S. Army veteran. He was preceded in death by his father; step-mother, Violet Mae Gierhart; and sister, Jackie Hill. He is survived by his children, Shawn (Carrie) Gierhart, Elizabeth (Lawrence) Davis, Scott Frank and Jeremy (Teresa) Frank; several grandchildren; sisters, Rose (Randy) Thurston, Bev Thurston, Sherri (Bruce) Hartley and Darlene Hill and brother, Mike Gierhart. A military graveside service will be held 12:00 noon Tuesday April 23, 2013 at Olive Cemetery, South Perry. Friends may call from 11:00 a.m. until noon at the Wellman Funeral Home, Laurelville.
