Ralph Jones

Ralph Jones Sr., 77, of Circleville passed away at home on September 22, 2015 at 9:50 p.m. He was born on December 25, 1937 in Circleville to Robert and Florence (Hill) Jones. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother-in-laws; Dale Byrd, Gene and Robert Stewart. Ralph, an AirForce Veteran was a member of St. Paul A.M.E. Church, served on City Council for 6 years, was instrumental in forming youth bowling leagues and girls’ softball and coed softball leagues, a youth volunteer and mentor for boys clubs. Ralph is survived by his wife; Sally (Stewart) Jones, his children; Linda (Daniel) Rice, Lisa (Mark) Bayless, Leslie (Larry Sr.), Jones ,Ralph II (Lora) Jones all of Circleville, grandchildren; Andrew, Lanessa, Lea, Linzy, Larry Jr, LaKisha, Mark, Shaun, 11 great grandchildren, siblings; Robert (Carmen) Jones Jr., John (Joyce) Jones, Granville (Vera) Jones, sisters; Edith Jones, Florence (Thomas) Fisher, Harriett Brown, Theresa Byrd and a multitude of nieces, nephews, family and friends and extended family member; Sheldon Arledge. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 26, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Paul A.M.E. Church with Pastor Katherine Davis officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Cemetery.
