Ralph E. Lake, 54, of Circleville, died June 11, 2009 at Berger Hospital. He was born May 16, 1955 in Circleville, the son of John and Anabelle (Carle) Lake, Sr. He was a 1973 graduate of Bishop Flaget High School, 1974 Diesel Mechanic School – Nashville,TN, worked as an Independent Insurance Agent, formerly employed at Western and Southern, J.E. Peter, Inc., Dunlap Company of Williamsport and Northland Equipment. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Morning Rotary, Pumpkin Show Parade Committee and Knights of Columbus #5297. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Rosalie Moore. He is survived by his wife, Cheri (Peters) Lake; children, JJ, Lindsay and Kaleigh; brother, John (Shirley) Lake, Jr.; sisters, Karen (Scott) McFarland, Peg (Bob) Burton, Mary (Charlie) White and Betsy (Terry) Hupp; father and mother-in-law, Jim and Martha Peters, brother-in-law, Ed (Benny) Peters and Cinda (Eric) Pontious and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Funeral mass will be held 10:00 a.m. Tuesday June 16, 2009 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. Friends may call from 2-8 p.m. Monday at the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville. Memorial contributions may be made to OSU James Cancer Center or American Heart Association.
