Raymond H. Alexander, 76, of Laurelville, died September 15, 2008 as a result of a truck accident. He was born September 8, 1932 in Bainbridge the son of Harley and Harriet (Daniels) Alexander, Sr. He was an electrician for IBEW #367 & #102, an Army veteran of the Korean War, member of the American Legion #134, life member of Amvets #2256, Moose #863 Logan and life member National Hunting Association. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Harley, Jr. and James; infant sister, Sharon and sister-in-law, Naomi Alexander. He is survived by his wife of over 52 years, Phyllis (Morris) Alexander; children, Stephen Alexander and Deborah Phillips; grandchildren, Melissa (Tracy) Carroll, Jason (Jen) Derexson, Dustin, Dylon and Cody Alexander; great grandchildren, Seth, Alex, Andrew, Matthew Rigsby, Alaina, John and Jake Carroll, Lynn and Clayton Huston; brothers, Robert (Pat), Charles (Linda), Dean and John (Bock) Alexander; sisters, Shirley Mark and Helen (Marlin) Uhrig and sister-in-law, Loretta Alexander. He will be greatly missed by his many friends in the Laurelville Community. No services will be observed. Arrangements by the Wellman Funeral Home, Laurelville.
