Raymond Valone

Raymond L. Valone, 88, of Circleville, died December 7, 2011 at Riverside Hospital. He was born May 16, 1923 in Warren, PA, the son of John and Teresa (Fucci) Valone. He was a U.S. Army veteran of WWII, member of Williamport United Methodist Church, member of VFW #3331, American Legion #134, Moose #2440, Heber #501 F&AM, Eastern Star and Elks #77. He owned V & Y Construction. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Samuel, Dominic, Joseph, Theodore, Frank, Michael, Victor, Patrick and Ralph and sister, Caroline. He is survived by his wife, Eugenia (Swanson) Valone; sons, John (Melanie) of Orient, David (Mary Lou) of Orient, and Joseph (Diana) of Circleville; grandchildren, Kyleen, Anthony, Rebecca, Tera, Vincent and Megan; great grandchildren, Darrick and Malachi; brother, Robert (Jeanne) Valone of Warren, PA and sister-in-laws, Jerry and Mary. Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday December 10, 2011 at the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville, with Rev. Ed Linville officiating. Burial will be in Springlawn Cemetery. Friends may call from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Elks services will be held at 7:45 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Berger Health Foundation.
