Richard Chestnut, Sr

Richard Lee “Dick” Chestnut, Sr., 59, of Circleville, died September 8, 2010 at his residence. He was born June 8, 1951 in Portsmouth, the son of Dale and Goldie (Looney) Easter. He was a U.S. Navy veteran. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Harvey Easter. He is survived by his wife, Joyce (Hill) Chestnut; children, Terri (Todd) Wynkoop of S. Bloomfield, Richard Lee (Lisa) Chestnut, Jr. of CA and Paul (Dana) Chestnut of Williamsport; 7 grandchildren, Brandon (Suzi) Isaac, Kristen Conley, Lane McNeal, P.J., Dylan, Ashley and Cody Chestnut; 1 great grandchild, Kayden Isaac; brothers, Roy (Peggy) Chestnut of Rushville and Mike (Vicki) Chestnut of Adelphi; sisters, Roseanne (Don) Birtcher of Newark and Sylvia (Jim) Stout of Junction City; great uncle, Harvey Looney of Williamsport and special friends, Joe and Laurie Neff and Sean & T.J. Sadler. Funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday September 10, 2010 at the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville. Burial will be in Forest Cemetery with military graveside honors. Friends may call from 11:00 a.m. Friday until the time of service at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Wellman Funeral Home in Richard’s name.
