Richard Dixon

Richard Duane Dixon, 65, of Circleville, died on Monday November 4, 2013. He was born September 25, 1948 in Clinton, IA, to the late Herbert and Leota (Gibson) Dixon. He is survived by his wife, Karen K. (Linville) Dixon; children, Brad (Desiree) Dixon and Angie (Seth) Penn; 3 grandchildren, Avery, Baylor and Casey; brother, Ron (Ger) Dixon; sisters, Barb Dixon and Carol (Dixon) Godat, all from Iowa and many nieces, nephews and special friends. Richard retired from DuPont after 30 plus years. He loved the outdoors. He enjoyed fishing and hunting. And let’s not forget Bella, his beloved dog and former travel companion. Funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday November 9, 2013 at the Wellman Funeral Home, Laurelville. Burial will be in Prairie View Cemetery. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Friday and 1 hour prior to the funeral at the funeral home.
