Richard Spangler

R. Doyle Spangler, 88, of Sunbury, died December 27, 2015 at his residence. He was born December 31, 1926 in Hartford, OH, the son of John B. and Mary Ellen (Saunders) Spangler. He was a member of Community United Methodist Church, Lions Club and K of Pythias. He was a retired building supplier and operated Cellar Lumber in Circleville. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Harva (Sparks) Spangler; brothers, Perry Spangler, Sr., Lester Spangler and Carl Spangler, Jr. and sisters, Edna Davis and Hannah Dial. He is survived by children, Debra Spangler of Columbus, R. Douglas (JoAnn) Spangler of Sunbury and Cheryl Spangler of Grove City; grandsons, Benjamin and Jeremy Spangler; sisters, Betty (Robert) Mead of Las Vegas. Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, December 31, 2015 at the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville. Burial will be in Forest Cemetery.
