Richard Speakman

Richard E. “Scott” Speakman, 79, of Williamsport passed away on April 7, 2016. He was born on October 6, 1936 in Williamsport to Luther and Ruth (Smith) Speakman. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by grandparents; Scott (Etta) Smith and by several aunts and uncles. Richard, an Army Veteran retired from E.I. Dupont and was a former member of G.O.C.C. Car Club. Mr. Speakman is survived by his wife; Nancy (Myers) Speakman, sons; Richard (Peggy) and Scott Speakman, grandchildren; Brittany, Kayla, Brandon, Shelby, Breanna, great grandchild; Remington, brother; Dale (Kay) Finch and by several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 12, 2016 at 1:30 p.m. at the Wellman Funeral Home with burial to follow in Springlawn Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday 2-4 and 6-8. Memorial contributions are suggested to American Heart Association, Kidney Foundation or Pickaway County Dog Shelter.
