Richard Walters

Richard Walters, 86, of Columbus passed away on April 29, 2018.  He was born on May 26, 1931 in Columbus to William and Sylvin (Wright) Walters.  He was retired from Wallace Ackley Company.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Norma (Donaldson) Walters, son Michael Walters.  Richard is survived by his sons Richard Jr.and Larry Walters, 7 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, brother Paul Walters, sister Mary Ann Bush and by special friend who cared for him at end of his life Mary VanVlack.  Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 4, 2018 at noon at the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville with burial to follow in Harrison Township Cemetery.  Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at noon.  Memorial contributions are suggested to the American Lung Association, 5900 Wilcox Place, Dublin, Ohio 43016.  Online condolences can be made to www.wellmanfuneralhomes.com.
