Robert Black

Robert C. Black, 96, of Ashville, died, July 1, 2016. He was born July 15, 1919 in Pickaway County, the son of Franklin and Catherine (Cormany) Black. Robert was an Army veteran of World War II. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Esther Huston and brothers, Oliver Kenneth and Dewey Black. He is survived by his children, Bradley Black and Brenda (Geoffrey) Hite, grandchildren, Chad (Rocky) Black, Brad (Lori) Black II, Carrie (Ryan) Morrison Corey (Katie) Black, Laura (Joshua) Ramey and Benjamin Hite, sisters, Martha Jane Truex, Maxine Stebelton and Lois Melvin. Funeral services will be 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 6, 2016 at the Marcy Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church. Graveside services will be Thursday, July 7 at 10 am at the Lithopolis Cemetery. Friends may call Wednesday from 4 to 7 pm at the church.
