Robert Burris

Robert “Burt” Burris, 43, of Kingston away died on Tuesday, March 4, 2014. He was born on April 6, 1970 in Circleville to Roger and Phyllis (Mumaw) Burris. In addition to his father he was preceded in death by his wife, Rhonda (Newlan) Burris in 2010, his mother and father-in-law, Jerry and Susan Althouse, sister-in-law, Kristina Althouse and by brother-in-law, Ronald Newlan. Robert is survived by his mother, Phyllis Burris, his children, Robert (Desiree Counts) Burris Jr., Christopher (Kayla Speakman) Burris, one grandchild, Lilly Sue Burns, brothers, Roger (Soni) Jr., Randy (Kelly) Burris, Ray (Corinne) Burris, sisters, Regina (Kenneth) Reeser, Rachel (Chuck) Smith, Robin (Randy) Gilmore, Rebecca (Kenny) Dellenbach, Butch Burris, special friends, Jeff Jenkins, Tammy Counts, Deb Thompson and by several nieces and nephews. Funeral service for Robert will be held on Friday at 3:00 at the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville with burial to follow in Forest Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 1-3 p.m. Memorial contributions are suggested c/o the funeral home in Robert’s name.
