Robert Herron

Robert Lee Herron, 73, died on Friday, January 10, 2014 and had fought a long and courageous battle with Parkinson Disease. He was born on September 17, 1940 in Kingston, Ohio to Wallace and Grace (Creachbaum) Herron. Bob enjoyed WWE wrestling, gospel music and eating pizza. He graduated from Centralia High School in 1959. Bob served in Ohio National Guard, was a member of Circleville First Baptist Church and worked at Jaeger Machine, Arrow Molded Plastics and retired from LDM Plastics. He married Marilyn Jean (Dawson) Herron on March 27, 1966. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister, Betty Tigner. Bob is survived by his wife, a son, Dale (Darlene) Herron of Circleville and a brother, Donald (Sharon) Herron of Chillicothe, grandson, Dalton Wayne Herron of Circleville, nieces of Chillicothe, Krissy Gabriel, Lisa Bridenbaugh and Tracy Bush and by a nephew, Bruce Tigner. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 14, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. at the Wellman Funeral Home with burial to follow in Forest Cemetery. Friends may call on Monday from 5-7 p.m. Memorial contributions are suggested to Parkinson Foundation of Central Ohio 2800 Corporate Exchange Dr., Suite 265, Columbus, Ohio or First Baptist Church or Heartland Hospice. The family would like to thank Berger Hospital ICU for the care given to Bob.
