Robert Mcclish

Robert Daniel McClish, 73 of Grove City, died July 17, 2009 at Pickaway Manor.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert P. and Clara E. (Heil) McClish and wife MaryLou (Shelley) McClish. He is survived by his brother, Richard (Harriet) McClish of Circleville, Ohio; nieces and nephews, Kathy (Kevin) O’Conner, Susan (Douglas) Marsico and Richard (Heather) McClish, Jr., Tom Bills, David Bills, and Christen Bills Witherspoon; seven great nephews; five great nieces and one great great niece. Robert graduated from Grove City High School and later received four degrees from Ohio State University in pre-med, education and anatomy. He taught sciences at Amanda, Mifflin, and Columbus schools. He then served as editor for Merrill Publishing Company. After receiving his PhD from OSU, he taught numerous subjects in medical schools. Visitation will be 1 to 3 pm Saturday July 25, 2009 at Wellman Funeral Home, 1455 Court Street, Circleville, Ohio; followed by a memorial service. Private interment will be at Walnut Hill Cemetery, Rathmell Road, Franklin County, Ohio at a future date. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to charity of choice.
