Robert Nothstine

Robert L. Nothstine, 86, was born in Wyandot County, Ohio, the son of Claude E. and Maude Zwayer Nothstine. He died on January 17, 2018 in Columbus, Ohio. Mr. Nothstine is survived by his wife of 62 years, Edna Massie Nothstine, son James R. Nothstine and daughter Nancy L. Nothstine, both of Columbus, and daughter R. Lynn Nothstine of Dayton. His extended family included several cousins, his wife’s brothers and sisters, and nieces and nephews. Mr. Nothstine graduated from Ashville High School, served in the United States Army in Germany from 1950-1952, and later retired from the Kroger Company after 31 years of employment. For much of his life, he was a member of Salem United Methodist Church in Kingston, Ohio. After moving to Columbus, he became a member of Maple Grove United Methodist Church. A funeral service will be held at 1 P.M. on Monday, January 22, 2018 at the Wellman Funeral Home, 1455 North Court Street, Circleville, Ohio, officiated by Pastor Glenn Schwerdtfeger. Visitation will begin at 11- 1 followed immediately by the funeral service. Burial will take place at the Lithopolis Cemetery, 4365 Cedar Hill Road, Canal Winchester.
