Rodney Conley

Rodney “animal” Allen Conley, 58, of Circleville passed away on April 7, 2018.  He was born on December 30, 1959 in Columbus to Willard and Melva (Terflinger) Conley Jr.  In addition to his mother he was preceded in death by grandparents Willard (Edith) Conley Sr. and Charles “Goaty” (Dolly) Terflinger.  Rodney graduated from Westfall High School in 1978, Pickaway Ross Auto Mechanics and Indianapolis Tech Collage of Diesel Mechanic.  He was a founding member of IBA Motorcycle Club, Chillicothe, he loved helping kids thru their charity drives, was owner operator of LA Rose Trucking until his health with legs put him into retirement and was also a member of Local #223 Labors/Local.  Rod loved life.  He started when little with grandpa delivering groceries that started his passion.  He loved driving over the road in his semi seeing the country and meeting people.  He loved talking never meeting a stranger.  Summer time he loved his grill and if any neighbors wanted some he would be happy to share his feast.  Rodney is survived by his father, Willard Conley Jr., sister Rhonda (Terry Allen) Conley and by a lot of special friends.  Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 12, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at the Wellman Funeral Home with burial to follow in Springlawn Cemetery.  Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 4-8 p.m.  Online condolences can be made to www.wellmanfuneralhomes.com.
