Rodrick "Ric" Greider

Rodrick “Ric” Hugh Greider, age 72 of Ashville, Ohio was called home to be with our Lord on January 2, 2022 after enduring challenging health issues.

Born in Steubenville, Ohio on August 15, 1949 to the late Donald and Martha Greider, he was a husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend.  He will be missed by them all.  Ric was adventurous throughout his life.  He was a licensed pilot, certified scuba diver and enjoyed riding motorcycles.  He loved sports, was an avid golfer and a fan of Ohio State Football.  Ric graduated high school from Upper Arlington in 1967 and went on to earn his Bachelor’s Degree in business at Columbus Business University.  He worked in finance throughout Columbus until he retired in 2016.  Ric is survived by his wife, Karen (Eblin) Greider, children, Kim Greider-Tucker, Krista Greider (Scott) Smith, Rodrick (Rocky) Greider, Julie (Roy) Gillespie, Ronna Gaines, Leslie Gaines, Brian (Michele) Gaines, and his 17 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.  There will be a celebration of Ric’s life held on Tuesday, January 11, 2022 at the Wellman Funeral Home in Circleville, Ohio.  A pre-service gathering will begin at 12:00 pm, followed by 1:00pm service.  A burial service at Forest Cemetery, Circleville, Ohio will immediately follow.  Donations can be made to Bed Brigade, Grove City, Ohio at www.bedbrigadecolumbus.org.  Online condolences can be made to www.wellmanfuneralhomes.com.
