Roger Lutz

Roger D Lutz, 61, of Circleville, left this earth April 9, 2011 to join the heavenly choir. He was born Feb. 21, 1950 in Circleville, the son of William and Icyle (Grubb) Lutz.
Roger was a 1968 Circleville High School graduate, earned his associates degree from Mt. Vernon Nazarene College and his bachelors in business administration from Eastern Kentucky University. He was a 25 year employee and District Manager of the Columbus Dispatch, a member of Good Shepherd United Methodist Church, a Lifeline of Ohio Ambassador and an avid Ohio State fan. Roger was preceded in death by his parents, brother James Kelly Lutz and grandparents, Freeman and Emma Lutz Sr. and Leola Grubb. He is survived by his wife, Cindi (Radcliff) Lutz; daughter, Heather (Chris) Gleason of Columbus; son, Ryan (Casey) Lutz of Virginia, stepson, Kevin (Stephanie) Florea of Georgia; grandchildren Claire, Mary, Nathan, Katelyn, Rylea, Eli, Michael and Peyton; brothers, Glenn and Robert Lutz and sister, Florence (Jon) Niles all of Circleville. Funeral services will be 11:00 am Wednesday, Apr. 13, 2011 at the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville with Pastors William Hill and Greg Swann officiating. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery. Friends may call Tuesday 2 - 4 and 6 - 8 pm. Family requests memorial contributions to Circleville Church of the Nazarene, Good Shepherd United Methodist Church or the Kidney Foundation. Roger requested that everyone wear Ohio State attire.
