Ronald E. Archer, 65, of Springboro died unexpectedly Friday morning, April 30, 2010 at Bethesda North Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio surrounded by his loving family. Ron was born in Dayton, Ohio on September 29, 1944 to the late Leroy and Carmen (Addington) Archer and grew up in Milford Center. His first love was his family; his wife and best friend of nearly 40 years Connie (Rowland) Archer; his sons, Scott of Delaware, Bradley of Springboro, Nicholas (Elisha) of Miamisburg, Timothy of Columbus and Christopher of Westerville. He is also survived by his two sisters, Susan (Gary) Holler and Elizabeth Archer; his brother Edward Archer; his Uncle George (Loretta) Addington; his granddaughters Caitlynn and Avrey and many nieces, nephews and friends. Ron was a proud graduate of The Ohio State University and enjoyed golf, OSU football, reading and the Cincinnati Reds. He was a very intelligent and private man who lived with integrity and strength of character. His value and influence to his family, friends and profession were immeasurable. He will be greatly missed by everyone. Family will receive friends Tuesday May 4, 2010 from 4:00-7:00 PM at the Wellman Funeral Home, 1455 N. Court St., Circleville, Ohio 43113. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will follow in the Forest Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Wellman Funeral Home in Ron's name.
