Ronald Smith, 45, of Mount Sterling passed away on August 9, 2016. He was born on February 25, 1971 in Honolulu, HI to Larry and Diane (Pennington) Smith. Ronald, an Army Veteran graduated from Kubasaki High School, Okinawa, Japan. He was a Boy Scout assistant and was a life member of VFW Post 3331. In addition to his parents he was survived by his wife; Fran (Lemaster) Smith, children; Lillee and Gabriel Smith, Zack and Leah Huffer, grandchildren; Andrew Osteen Jr. and Jay Huffer, sister; Dianna (Brian) Gossett, brother; James Smith (Charlene) and by nieces and nephews; Jamie Collins, Ronald III and Kaitlyn Walsh, Tyler Gompf, Robert Smith, A.J. Hinson, Emily, P.J. and Sophia Lemaster. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 16, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at the Wellman Funeral Home with burial to follow in Meade Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 5-8 p.m. Memorial contributions are suggested to Go Fund Me Veteran Ronald Smith Memorial Fund.
