Rose Hardesty

Rose E. Hardesty, 95, of Circleville passed away Thursday, April 3, 2014. She was born on October 10, 1918 in Pickaway County to Samuel and Mary (Killian) Stant. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by sisters, Georgia Hardesty and Martha Lee, daughters, Carolyn Butterbaugh and Eleanor Shuff; son, Roy Hardesty; grandson, Charles Hill; and granddaughters, Cheryl Hill-Strawser and Rose Chiddix. Rose is survived by her sister, Betty Stant; son, Kenneth Hardesty; grandchildren, Elaina (Ray) Hardesty, Stephanie (Dennis) Butterbaugh, and Thomas Hardesty; granddaughter-in-law, Diane Hill; 10 great grandchildren; 9 great great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and by many dear friends and her beloved pet and companion, Gina. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 8, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. in the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville with burial to follow in Forest Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from noon until the time of service at 2:00 p.m.
