Rose (Burris) Young

Rose Young, 80, of Circleville passed away on July 6, 2024.  She was born on May 11, 1944 in Washington Court House to Harold and Amanda (Francis) Burris.  In addition to her father Harold Burris and mother Amanda Burris Dowden she is preceded in death by her first husband Paul Ramey and her second husband Robert Young; son Paul David Ramey; daughter Rebecca Clouse; grandchild Ashley Ramey; brother William Burris.  Rose leaves behind sons Richard (Julia) Ramey of San Antonio, TX, Terry Ramey of Westerville; grandchildren Brandon (Devon) Ramey, David Ramey, Victor Salazar; 9 great grandchildren and by a sister Rena (Charles) Boldoser.  Rose was a member of Harlem Road Methodist Church and started as a secretary and moved up to head of Security at Capital University for 32 years.  Rose and her sister Rena and brother-in-law Charles enjoyed many adventures traveling together.  Her fun loving spirit will be greatly missed by all.  Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 10, 2024 at 7:00 p.m. at the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville with visitation from 4-7.  Memorial contributions are suggested to Heartland Hospice, 116 Morris Road, Circleville, Ohio 43113 or Logan Elm Healthcare, 370 Tarlton Road, Circleville, Ohio, 43113.
