Roseanna Sparks

Roseanna “Rosie” Sparks, 90, of Circleville passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 8, 2014. Roseanna was born on March 2, 1924 in Chillicothe, Ohio to Fred and Nettie (Arledge) Dean. She was a devoted mother, homemaker and seamstress. She enjoyed playing bingo and loved caring for her grandchildren. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, George W. Sparks Sr., grandson, Jeff Sparks, brother, Richard Dean and a sister, Ivalee Turner. She is survived by her children, Darla (Matthew) Kirkpatrick, George W. (Nadine) Sparks Jr., Dana (Patty) Sparks, Tami Sparks, grandchildren, Nancy (Duane) Baker, Mary (David) Moore, Kathy Erwin, Tina (Darryl) Mayo, Chad (Janet) Melson, Eric (Sondra) Melson, Jenna Beckman, Jennifer (Doug) Clay, Deanna (David) Jackson, Jason (Nicole) McDougle, Stephanie (Aaron) Easter, Amanda (Eric) Mouradian, Dustin and Jason Hill, Samantha (Larry) Seymour, 38 great grandchildren, 2 brothers, Edwin Dean of Colorado, Ned Dean of Hilliard and by 1 sister, Martha Welsh of Chillicothe. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 13, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. at the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville with Chaplain Jim Ferrell officiating. Burial will take place in Forest Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 5-8 P.M. Memorial contributions are suggested to Heartland Hospice or Logan Elm Health Care.
