Roy Walisa

Roy Walisa, 88, of Circleville passed away on January 11, 2017. He was born on March 15, 1928 in Circleville to Arthur and Carrie (Brown) Walisa. He was a WWII Navy Veteran. He loved camping, fishing and traveling. He enjoyed talking about naval ships. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife; Jessie (Shockey) Walisa, grandson; Scott Walisa and by 3 sisters and 2 brothers. Roy is survived by his children; Robert (Carolyn), Charles (Darla), Jeffrey (Judith) Walisa, Jennifer (Edward) Struckman and by 7 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 16, 2017 at 12:00 p.m. at the Wellman Funeral Home with burial to follow in Floral Hills Cemetery with Military Honors. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 10-12. A special mention goes to Bertha Bailey and Amanda for all their kindness and attention.
