Russell “Red” Fausnaugh, 73, of Circleville, went to be with the Lord on August 22, 2010 at Riverside Hospital. He was born at home in Five Points on May 1, 1937 to Roy and Dorothy (Tharp) Fausnaugh. He was retired from Picca Recycling Center. His hobbies when he was able was hunting and sitting on his front porch drinking a can of beer. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Wanda (Giffin) Fausnaugh; son, Gary; daughters-in-law, Marie and Samantha; granddaughter, Bobbie Jo; brothers, Donald, Harold, Melvin and Rodger; sisters, Helen, Marge and Rose and nephew, Glenn Giffin. He is survived by his loving children, Sharon (Sam) Spears, Cathy (Larry) Campbell, Willie Fausnaugh, Tommy (Mary) Fausnaugh and Shirley Giffin all of Circleville; 20 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Charlotte Fausnaugh of Pike County; sisters, Gloria and Jean of Darbyville; brother, Stan of Ross County; very special nephew, Charlie Giffin; several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m. Thursday August 26, 2010 at the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville. Burial will be in Forest Cemetery. Friends may call from5-8 p.m. Wednesday and 10:00 a.m. until the time of service on Thursday at the funeral home.
