Ruth Delong

Ruth J. DeLong 87, of Adelphi, died March 16, 2011 at Pickaway Manor. She was born April 27, 1923 in Louisa, KY, the daughter of John and Trinnie (Wilcox) Jordan. She was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church in Laurelville. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert DeLong; brothers and sisters, Thelma Kelly, Eskel, Harvey, George, Ora, Edgar, Harry and Glenn Jordan. She is survived by her sons, Mark A. (Betsy) DeLong of Columbus and Barry (Debbie) DeLong of Rockbridge; 5 grandchildren, Eric, Paul, Matt, Erin and Evan; 3 great grandchildren, Macie, Rachel and Ella and brothers, Paul (Agnes) Jordan of Circleville and John Jordan of Peterboro, NH. Graveside service will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday March 19, 2011 at Green Summit Cemetery. Arrangements were completed by the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville.
