Ruth Dunford

Ruth E. Dunford, 66, of Circleville, died April 24, 2014 at Genesis Health Care. She was born March 24, 1948 in Pike County, the daughter of the late Dirl Bud and Louise Amy (Duke) Whitt. She is survived by her sons, Todd Scott Brannon of Piketon, Robert W. (Jodi) Chapman, Jr. of Circleville and William C. Dunford of Lancaster; grandchildren, Jacob G. Chapman of Circleville and Chelsea Chelikowsky of Circleville; brothers, Dirl Whitt, Jr. of Piketon, Jason M. Frey of Columbus, Charles P. Frey of Chillicothe, Randal Woods of Chillicothe, Vernon Whitt of Piketon, Paul Whitt of Piketon and James P. Adkins of War, WV; sisters, Wilma Hopper of Chillicothe, Sharon Mullett of Lucasville, Linda Whitt of Piketon, Georgia Whitt of Portsmouth and Mary Ellen Whitt of Waverly. Family will have a memorial gathering at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville in Ruth’s name.
