Ruth Mcfadden

Ruth McFadden passed away on May 7, 2014 at Riverside Methodist Hospital. She was born January 6, 1928 in Albany, Ohio to Perry and Gwendolyn Zimmerman Russell. She was preceded in death by her husband Larry McFadden, parents, and brothers Donald, Ronald and Ralph Russell. She is survived by her brothers Gary Russell and Larry Russell; children Marsha (Gary) Dumm, Mark (Kim) McFadden; grandchildren Hillary (Jason) Herbert, Lauren Braun, Rory McFadden, Keary (Danny) Sorgini, Russell McFadden (fiancé Jaia Reidling), Dallas (Jesse) Lanier; great grandchildren Brooklyn and Riley Herbert, Kennedy Braun, Liam Sorgini and Jude Lanier; numerous nieces and nephews and many dear friends.
She sold real estate for over 50 years and owned her business as a broker for 32 years. She was a member of the Columbus Board of Realtors, Community United Methodist Church, and a charter member of Sunrise Rotary Club.
Throughout her life she was concerned and offered a helping hand to those of lesser means. She attended every program, sporting event and school function in which a grandchild or great-grandchild was involved.
A memorial service will be held at Community United Methodist Church, 120 North Pickaway Street, Circleville, Ohio on Saturday, May 10 at 10:00 with Rev. Barry Burns officiating. At Ruth’s request, there will be no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Pickaway County Food Pantry, P. O. Box 1011, East Ohio Street, Circleville, Ohio, 43113. Arrangements completed by the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville.
