Sandra Kay (Speakman) Smith

Sandra Kay Smith, 77, of Circleville passed away on August 31, 2022.  She was born on August 2, 1945 in Columbus, Ohio to Luther and Helen (Weethee) Speakman.  She retired with 30 plus years from GE Lamp Plant, Circleville She was a transportation driver for 10 plus years for PICCA.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Paul M. Smith and a granddaughter Olivia Smith-Jones.  Sandra is survived by her son Robert T. (Cyndy) Caplinger of Circleville, daughter Stephanie M. “Chell” (Douglas) Smith-Smith of Circleville, grandchildren Robert T. Caplinger II, Jessica R. Caplinger and sister Joyce M. Connell and nieces and many other family and friends.  Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 7, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville with burial to follow in Forest Cemetery.  Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 4-7 and again on Wednesday 10-11.   Online condolences can be made to www.wellmanfuneralhomes.com.
