Sandy Wells

Sandra “Sandy” Dent Wells, 72, of Circleville, died quietly, December 21, 2010 at Grant Hospital. She was born November 2, 1938 in Columbus, the daughter of Robert and Mary (Young) Dent. She was a graduate of Columbus West High School and the White Cross School of Nursing. She was a registered nurse of more than 50 years and just recently retired from the V.A. Medical Center. She was a member of Eastern Star, past district director of Garden Club of Ohio, proud member of the Pumpkin Show Parade Committee, life member of Amvets and West High Alumni Association. She was preceded in death by her parents and daughter, Kelly Wells. She is survived by husband, Tommy Wells; children, Robert (Judy) Wells and Victoria Wells; grandchildren, Jessica (Kris) Kersbergen, Ashley Wells, Kendall and Chase Bailey; great grandchildren, Savannah and Gabriel; brothers, Robert Dent and Daniel (Susan) Dent; sister, Sharon (Paul) Pennell and special friends, Marilyn Clark and Sara Dumbauld. Funeral service will be held 11:30 a.m. Thursday December 30, 2010 at the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville. Burial will be in Forest Cemetery.
