Sharon Nungester

Sharon E. Nungester, 66, of Waverly, died July 13, 2010 at Pike Community Hospital. She was born July 25, 1943 in Ravenna, OH, the daughter of John and Shirley (Stevens) Fortner. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, gardening, going to church in Waverly and retired from Sherrie’s Country Care Home. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ralph Nungester; son, William; brothers, Jim and Richard Fortner and sister, Marilyn Rose Fortner. She is survived by her children, Dale Daubenmire, Teresa (Dusty) Conrad, Barbara (Eddie) McCain and Billie Jo (Butch) Harris; 14 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; sisters, Naomi (Roger) Schmitt, Becky (Mike) Poling and Rachel Brown, brother, John (Judy) Fortner and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday July 17, 2010 at the First Church of God Worship Center. Burial will be in Tarlton Cemetery. Friends may call from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Friday at the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville. Memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home in Sharon’s name.
