Shawntae Scarbury

Shawntae Lynn Scarbury, 37 from Gove City, Ohio departed this life on Sunday, January 29, 2017 at her residence. Born April 18, 1979, she was the daughter of Russell Scarbury (Companion Amy Walraven), and Kitty Mounts-Carr.
She was preceded in death by her Great Grandparents Birdie Adkins, Lonnie and Helen Scarbury, Grandfathers Marvie Mounts and Claude Reed.
Those left to love and cherish the memory of Shawntae and to mourn her passing include her parents, her children, which was her pride and joy: Austin Caleb Johnson of Crouches Farm, WV and Amber Leighann Caudill from Accoloville, WV. Grandparents Gearldine Reed, Roy and Janet Scarbury, Emma Lou Mounts. Sisters: Shantel Davis, Stacey Brodbeck, Haley Scarbury, Holly McQuaid, Brothers: Michael (Jackie) Scarbury, R. J. Scarbury, William Scarbury, Trenton Scarbury. Aunts: Sharlene Phillips, Marlene Reese, Darlene (Clayton) Mosely, Sharon (John) Farra, Karon (Jeff) Moore, Donna (Anthony) Six, Debra (Brian) Craft, and Susan Scarbury. Uncles: Gene (Linda) Reed, Harry Reed, Randy (Christine) Scarbury, Travis (Tim) Scarbury, Ronnie Fritz, and Joey Fritz. Nieces: Jaden Ryleigh Shisler, McKayla Scarbury, Jocelyn Scarbury, Aubrey Thompson, Miley McQuaid: Nephews: Jace Scarbury, Easton Thompson, Evan Brodbeck, Bryson Smith. As well as numerous cousins and friends. She is also survived by Darryl Davis, whom she always loved as a father, former husbands, whom she has remained friends with, David Keith Johnson of Crouches Farm, WV, and John Caudill Jr. of Accoloville, WV.
Services will commence on Friday, February 3, 2017 Darbyville Community Church at 16821 Main St., Williamsport, OH 43164, with viewing at 11:00 am – 1:00 pm, and funeral services at 1:00 pm with the Rev. Denver Peters and Rev. Jimmy Thompson officiating. Burial will follow in the Muhlenburg Township Cemetery. The family request that in lieu of flowers that donations be made to Darbyville Community Church to help with the cost of final expenses.
She is gone from our sight but will be forever in our hearts!!! We love you Tae, always and forever!!!
