Shirley Allen

Shirley A. Allen, 71, of Circleville, died June 23, 2013 at Mt. Carmel West. She was born on May 12, 1942 in Columbus, the daughter of Frank and Ada (Kelly) Snyder. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother-in-law, Bill Householder. She is survived by her husband, Leonard Allen; children, Nancy (Tim) Shope, Frank Tucker, Sam (Kathy) Tucker, Glenn (Lisa) Tucker and Jeff (Nicole) Allen; 11 grandchildren, Sabrina, Sally, Benjamin, Joey, Sandi, Molly, Sarah, Emily, Bobby, Katie and Olivia; 13 great grandchildren; sisters, Ruth Householder and Ada (Donald) Chandler and aunt, Lucille Newland of Waverly. Funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m. Thursday June 27, 2013 at the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville. Burial will be in Forest Cemetery. Friends may call from 2-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
