Sonja Schultz

Sonja A. Schultz, 77, of Circleville passed away on November 21, 2017. She was born on January 5, 1940 in Lucas, Kansas to Edwin L. and D. Wilmadean (Daniels) Heinze. She was a graduate of Topeka High School, married Robert A. Schultz at Holy Name Cathedral in Topeka, was an interior designer for Masons from 1978-2000, member of Friends of Berger, Gardenwood Club, a member of American Heart Association, Pumpkin Show Parade Committee, Circleville Beautification Society. Sonja volunteered for various committees throughout the years at St. Joseph Church and enjoyed sewing, quilting and doll and card making for children and grandchildren. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Robert A. Schultz, grandchildren Chris Strawser and Michael Ockington and by siblings Edwin L. Heinze Jr. and Linda L. Thorn. Sonja is survived by her children Michael D. (Debbie) Schultz of Chillicothe, Katharine S. O’Dell of Circleville, Mary L. Brown of Circleville, Ann E. Schultz of Circleville, Amy L. (Scott) Clubbs of Hillard, Susan C. (Tina) Schultz of Phoenix, Arizona and Matthew A. (Colleen) Schultz of Circleville, grandchildren Stephanie (Nick) Goodrich, Jeramie Xavier, Megan (Mark) Phillips, Kevin (Megan) O’Dell, John (Jo) Strawser, Mandy (Chad) Pine, Stevi Alkire, Shane Prather, Alec Prather, Selina Clubbs, Preston, Marissa and Judson Schultz, 12 great grandchildren and by brother Daniels L. (Brenda) Heinze of Phillipsburg, Kansa and sister Peggy S. (Lary) Stull of Hays, Kansas. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, November 25, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at the St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Ted Machnik officiating with burial to follow in St. Joseph Cemetery.
