Staci Kempton

Staci Ann Kempton, 37 of Laurelville passed from this life on October 6, 2009 at her residence, following a courageous battle with cancer. She was born April 15, 1972, the daughter of Larry and Wanda (Unger) Kempton. Staci was preceded in death by her father and her grandparents, Elsworth Kempton and Albert and Ethel Unger. She is survived by her mother, Wanda Shadbolt; sister, Christina (Greg) Garrett; niece, Gretchen (John) Walters; grandmother, Marian Kempton and special aunts, Doris Fetherolf and Linda Moss. She will be missed greatly by her extended family of aunts, uncles, cousins, as well as her many friends and co-workers at Walmart Distribution Center in Grove City. A special expression of gratitude is given to her cousin, Jamie Unger, for his devoted care and support. Although her life on earth was brief, Staci touched many hearts with her strength and courage and with her faith in her Heavenly Father. Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday October 9, 2009 at the Wellman Funeral Home, Laurelville, with the Rev. John Williams officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Kingston. Friends may call from 3-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made in Staci’s memory to the Amercian Cancer Society.
