Stella Fox

Stella B. (Spears) Fox was born in Owsley, KY on December 18, 1924. She passed away February 1, 2012. She was a member of the Primitive Baptist Church, a mother of three children, seven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband William “Bill” Fox, parents Elkana and Louise Spears, sisters Margie (Noah) Robinson of OH and Omadell (Orville) Adkins of KY, brothers Jefferson A. (Betty) Spears of Charleston, WV and Cecil (Mae) Spears of Washington C.H., OH and Berb Meade of WV, one surviving sister Betty J. Branham (Goble) of OH. Surviving Stella are two sons Gregory L. (Lois) Fox of Stoutsville, Rick R. (Patty) Fox of West Salem and one daughter Pam (Terry) Jude of Lundale WV, grandchildren William Anthony (Amanda) Fox of OH, Stacy (Jack) Romine of OH, Aaron Fox of TX, Jill (David) Conley of OH, Tara Lester, Becky and Elizabeth Jude of WV, great grandchildren Michael and Christina Fox, Christian, Gabriel and Joshua Romine, Sarah Lester, Michael and Katelyn Conley, Jada Jude and Micah Carelli. Stella had a gift for service and loving toward all of her family and others. She cherished gathering with loved ones, talking about scriptures from the Holy Bible and travel. Although her body is taken from us and received by her Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, she will never leave our hearts. Stella left a legacy of trusting faith, a loving family and friends. Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday February 6, 2012 at Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville. Family will receive friends Sunday 2-4 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be Tuesday at Highland Memorial Gardens, Chapmanville, WV. Memorial contributions may be made to American Heart Association.
