Steven Sines

Steven Sines, 71, of Circleville passed away on July 5, 2023.  He was born on March 19, 1952 in Circleville to Carroll and Jerri (Speakman) Sines.  Steve graduated from Westfall High School in 1970.  He served in the Army from 1972-1974.  He was stationed in the Schofield Barracks in Hawaii and was also a welder for over 40 years.  Steve was an avid Ohio State Buckeyes fan.  He loved fishing and camping at Lakeside Resort.  His favorite past times were coaching his kids in sports when they were younger.  He loved watching his grandchildren play any type of sport.  He also spent his free time with his wife and best friend, Ruth.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his in-laws Goldie and Teddy Rittenhouse and several brother and sister in laws.  Steven is survived by his wife of 50 years Ruth (Bensonhaver) Sines; children Kristi (Todd) Allison, Kamron (Andy) Bowen and Kelton Sines; grandchildren Jacob, Jessica (Hunter) and Jenna Allison and Liam and Ava Bowen; siblings Linda O’Conner, Mike (Diane) Sines, Cheryl Caudy, Patty (Raymond) Strait, Lannette (Matt Miller) Smith; several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews and his best friends his dogs Kono and Jax.  Funeral services will be held on   Saturday, July 8, 2023 at 10:30 a.m. at the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville with burial to follow in Forest Cemetery.  Visitation will be held on Friday from 4-7 p.m.  Memorial contributions are suggested to the funeral home in Steven’s name.  Online condolences can be made to www.wellmanfuneralhomes.com.
