Teresa Allen

Teresa J. Allen, 64, of Circleville affectionately known as “Tiger Lady” went to be with the Lord, Thursday, December 4, 2014. She was born on December 20, 1949 in Circleville to Francis and Harriett (Roby) Allen. She was preceded in death by her mother. Teresa is survived by her father, Francis Allen, brothers; Steve (Karen) Allen, Brad (Lynn) Allen, sister; Angela (Jerry)Rush, aunts Helen Burlile and Mary Ater, several nieces and nephews who she adored and her precious god-mother, Ruth Musselman. Teresa was a 1970 graduate of Circleville High School. She was the most loyal supporter of Circleville Athletics for the past 40 years. She was honored last year by being inducted into the Circleville Hall of Fame. Teresa’s family would like to express their deep appreciation to her loving, supportive Circleville Athletic family. “Tiger Lady” loved all of you! Teresa was a lifelong member of Emmanuel United Methodist Church. Special thanks to Pastor Ty Myers and Ty Jr. “Tiger” and the entire Emmanuel Church family. Teresa was also a member of “The Kitchen Band” and enjoyed performing at the Circleville Pumpkin Show with all of her loving friends in the band. Funeral service will be held on Monday, December 8, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at the Emmanuel United Methodist Church, Georgia Road, Circleville with Pastor Ty Myers officiating. Burial will be in Hitler Ludwig Cemetery. Friends may call at Wellman Funeral Home on Sunday from 1-5 p.m. Memorials are suggested to Emmanuel United Methodist Church.
