God called his Angel home today! Teresa McDermitt-Snyder, 55, passed away on May 25, 2012 after a Brave and Heroic battle against cancer. She is loved and will be greatly missed! Teresa has always been a caring, loving, and selfless wife, mother, grandmother, sister, daughter, aunt, niece and friend. All who came in contact with her could not help but fall in love with her magical and magnetic personality. Her death is our loss and Heavens gain!
Teresa was born on October 3, 1956 in St. Mary’s, Ohio to Fred and Peggy (Krugh) Reedy. She was preceded in death by her father, Fred Reedy, her first husband, Tony McDermitt and her brother, Larry Reedy.
She is survived by her mother, Peggy (Dan) Rankin of Idaho, her second husband, Michael Snyder of Washington C.H., daughter and son-in-law, Peggy and Shane McEnroe and their son William Lemmon of Jeffersonville, son and daughter-in-law, Lawrance and Nina McDermitt and their children, Krissa, Conner, Rae-Anne and Michael all of Alaska, son and daughter-in-law, Eric and Missy McDermitt and their daughter Kassidy of Idaho, brothers, Timothy (Donna) Reedy of Illinois, Daniel (Jana) Reedy and Tom (Alana) Reedy both of Ohio and by stepsisters, Robin, Holly, April and Joy.
Funeral services for Mrs. McDermitt-Snyder will be held on Wednesday, May 30, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. in the Wellman-Kinzer Funeral Home with burial to follow in Highlawn Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 11 a.m. until the time of service at 1:00.
