Theodore Jenkins

Theodore D. “Ted” Jenkins, Sr., 64 of Circleville, died November 10, 2009 at Berger Hospital. He was born May 8, 1945 in Columbus, the son of Elmer and Sarah (Walker) Jenkins. He was retired from Pickaway County Engineer Dept. with 25 plus years and was an active member of Amvets. He was preceded in death by his father; wife, Linda (Russell) Jenkins; son, Theodore D. “Bub” Jenkins, Jr. and good friend, Robbie Heeter. He is survived by his mother, Sarah Jenkins; daughter, Connie (Mark) Christman of Circleville; son, David (Lorey) Jenkins of Chillicothe; grandchildren, Kathleen, Mark, Jr. and Mindy Christman and Tasha Jenkins; 8 great grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Rich (Donna) Jenkins, Jesse (Paula) Jenkins, Drake Jenkins, Margaret (Donald) Holcomb, Barb (John Buening) Jenkins, Bonnie (Larry) Brown and Ginger (Jimmy) Cantrell; numerous nieces and nephews; special friends, Sheryl Oxendine and Nellie Conkle. Funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday November 13, 2009 at the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville with Rev. William Haddox officiating. Burial will be in Forest Cemetery. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
