Thomas R. Masters, age 80, died on July 22, 2010, at Columbus Alzheimer Care Center, after an extended battle with Alzheimer’s disease. He was preceded in death by parents, Lester and Ava Masters; brother, Bill Masters; sisters-in law, Judy Lewis and Louise Masters; brothers-in-law, Walter Coleman and Don Wing; and two nephews, Doug Wing and Brad Lewis. Tom is survived by his beloved wife, Alma Masters; daughter, Pam (Jim) Stafford; grandchildren, Scott Stafford, Ben (Beth) Stafford and Sarah (Paul) Shearer; sister, Beverly (Bob) Smith; sister-in-laws, Mildred (Elmer) Arling and Anne Coleman; brother-in-law, John (Debie) Wing; as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews, including Lana Keller Barbarick and her family. A graveside service for family and friends will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, July 31, 2010, at Springlawn Cemetery in Williamsport, officiated by Rev. Leo Frailey. Cremation has taken place. Arrangements were completed by Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Tom’s memory to the charity of your choice.
