Thomas Strawser

Thomas J. Strawser, 88, of Circleville, died July 25, 2012 at Circleville Care and Rehab. He was born January 2, 1924 in Toledo, the son of Thomas J. and Bessie (Mason) Strawser. He was a member of the St. Joseph Church and retired from the U.S. Postal Service. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran of World War II where he served in the Invasion of Italy, Normandy and S. France and the Korean War and was retired from the Coast Guard. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Mary Ann (Caruso) Strawser. He is survived by his sons, Thomas J. (Irma) Strawser, Joseph M. (Linda) Strawser and John (Kris) Strawser; 6 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Private services will be held with burial in St. Joseph Cemetery. Arrangements were completed by the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Kidney Foundation.
